Hi guys,
Not new to the car scene but brand new to owning a Toyota. Always been a Nissan/Infiniti driver. Have a 93 Nissan 240sx, and 2002 Nissan Pathfinder which I sold and regretted ever since and purchased a 2017 Infiniti Q50S which I've been winter driving for 3 years. Didn't want to winter drive it anymore as it takes too much damage and idiots in my city drive like idiots.
I work in the auto industry and customer traded in this 2008 Toyota Highlander Sport 4WD Black, one owner. Its pretty beat up outside with a rusted fender and crushed in rear bumper but the engine was maintained very well with 300K on it. Took it for a rip and ended up buying it and now its my winter rig. Need to find a junkyard LH fender and rear bumper cover to fix her up but she'll do well in winter. 300K and the engine is still solid. Toyota are built like tanks. But she drives like a dream, never had a 7 seater before and first time driving a Toyota. I do miss my creature comforts that my loaded Infiniti has but for winter, i'll settle. Back up screen is tiny compared to my Infiniti LOL and no heated steering wheel
But for the price I paid for it, its an amazing pick up as everything in my price range when I was looking was POS 98-2002 Honda CRVs, Toyota Rav4s that had way higher mileage and rusted out or had issues.
