Hello, Toyota Nation. It's good to see that forums are still alive and well. Tetronimo is just a fun word for a Tetris piece. I got a Rav4, my first Toyota a couple years ago after I happened to sit in one when looking for something completely different. I was instantly hooked. I'm not exactly a car guy, though I've dabbled with older vehicles where the results weren't super important, but with this thing I need help from people who know better, and that's you!

Hi y’all, I am looking to get a used car.

My priorities are

AWD or 4WD
Rear camera
Cute but spacious
Bright color I can find in a parking lot
Dependable and safe.

If it didn’t have to be dependable and safe, the Jeep Renegade has awesome colors. But I googled ‘why does Jeep suck ‘ and got too many answers ???

Anyway as far as I can tell I won’t get better than probably an orange RAV4. The other car I was looking at was a Kia Sportage. But between the two, the RAV4 seems better.

So this is why I am here!

I specifically came looking for comparisons between the Limited trims from 2015-2019 and especially the safety features.

When did the feature come in that video monitors the entire car and what is it called? Wow that would make me feel safer!

I might post this or some of it as my own post once I read a bit to see what it’s like here.

New to this forum. I am in the planning stages of purchasing a replacement for a 2006 Hyundai Tucson Auto 2.7 V6 4WD used for light offroading ( forest or farm 'service' roads, sand, some mud, and the odd stream fording here and there) ... most offroading is due to geocaching. My budget is such that I am looking for that 'perfect' old pre-2013 RAV4, and know that I will more likely will find a newer model RAV4 which will then need a lift and suitable shoes.

Hi everyone. I’ve been a member for awhile but I am new to the rav4. Just bought a 2018 pearl white limited AWD. I also have a 2016 Highlander limited AWD, and a 2014.5 Camry SE.

I just bought the rav yesterday and am already considering some minor accessories, like remote starter and footwell lighting kit. Maybe some good aftermarket speakers too at some point.

I love maintaining and fixing my own cars, my main motivation is I don’t trust others to do the work right, but saving money is always good too. The Rav only has 28k miles so the only PM I’m planning soon is an atf drain and fill.

Just joined but,have read comments prior to. Just paid off my 2018 LE with only 4600 miles. Since moving back to Austin in 18 from San Antonio, just dont drive much. Especially since the pandemic. I was curious about the Entune update 3.0 so I downloaded and installed. I don't see a difference? Do I need to open my smartphone and use the app.? I thought that was the purpose of being able to use the audio- screen? Sorry, a little slow with tech. Im a music person so I listen to cd's when its not very hot here. Also, after taken two trips to the coast, I'm more aware of how really bad the cabin noise is. Considering hiring someone to install soundproofing as I really hate driving anyway . Traffic is horrible here. Don't move to Austin.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all Name Steve new here its my wife who has the 2017 Rav4 XLE got it new after I got her car totaled when A drunk hit me on my way to work and took off lol Lucky me. I had 2006 Nissan sentra SER spec-V 6speed 248K miles just had new clutch put in still original Motor before this but have moved over to Toyota. I am pretty good with cars fix and enjoy it most of the time, I now have a 2017 Toyota Camry SE after mine got totaled by a speeder that slammed into a F150 into me and me under a Dodge Ram. I used to be on a lot of Nissan forums and enjoyed it and most of the people so I thought I should start to see what's out there for Toyota groups. I am located out of Philly PA.

Hey! I got my 2016 Rav4 in March this year. I am really liking it way more than I thought I would! I'm a 1st time Toyota owner too.

I'd like to find out where I could pick up some cargo area management items.

Also, how do I find out if my Rav4 is compatible with the new Toyota app that replaced Entune?

Hello all, I joined Rav4 world 2 months ago when my family and I arrived in the Twin Cities area with a last 4th generation model (2018) as I'm new to this car and brand I will look for support a lot of the time as I need install additional lights (my wife and I have vision problems and require additional support into the nights or storms)
