so i havent progressed much since my last post but im planning on having it fully painted, lifted and tinted windows by the end of this weekend if the rain doesnt stop me

here few pics of process -everything is new almost - new brakes , all lines, prothane bushing kit, gas tank, clutch, cross members, cab mounts ( found used) new fenders,hood,windshield, used rear sliding window, went from 4 speed to 5 speed tranny bucket seats from a subaru xt6 car , rad

Nice frame off job. Mine needs summa that action. A little frame rust & half red half blue sad paint. Ok to cruise up from TX to use your paint booth & hoist to knock mine out next spring? LOL.

heres mine

im 18 years old and i just bought my first vehicle- a 1987 toyota,
195k miles, 22r, 2wd, 5spd stick, its great
mods:
lowered w/ lowereing shocks to tighten it up
17" evo wheels
cat back exhaust
stereo/cd
aftermarket steering wheel
shaved license plate holes on front bumper(painted)
shaved grille(painted)
4wd valance panel up front under the bumper.

Here's my truck. I just bought her today. 1980 4x4 with some work done (dont know exactly what parts are in her).





Sorry the pics are so small, they're the ones from the CL ad (I havent taken any yet)

Hah. I guess I've always referred to vehicles as she.. never thought much of it lol.

Anyway, she cost me $2200. Needs a carb rebuild, tuneup, and all the fluids changed. It was driven about 20Mi max per year for the past 3 years or so.

No hundred thousand digit on the odometer, but the PO said she had 170K and that seems right to me, runs too well to be 270K..

more mods

i have just installed some new goodies in my truck
i did the brakes on sunday
-new rotors, pads, new bearings, new racers, new seals
works great
then yesterday(monday) i put in some racing buckets theyre awesome
great support, very secure. i love it
i was able to keep the factory belts as well
as if it wasnt enough i put a custom sub enclosure between the seats
with an alpine type r 10" sub
