is there a diy site for oil changes on the matrix? for some reason, I'm having a hard time finding the filter. anyone got a digital pic of the location in the engine bay?
also, i'm switching to mobil1 5w30. what is the part number for the mobil1 filter? thx.

depending on which model u have, it may be in a diff. place. You should check under the car it's pretty small filter.

The oil filter is located in pretty much the same location in either the 1ZZ or the 2ZZ.
You'll have to look from underneath to see it. Facing the engine from underneath it's on the left hand side (passenger side) on the bottom of the engine.
