Oil filter relocation kit.. Who has one?

I know the oil filter isn't in a "hard to reach" location but I like to keep things clean.

Is anyone on the forum running any sort of oil filter relocation kits? Reason why I am asking is because I'm curious if the stock oil filter stud will screw into the adaptor housing.

Also would like to run a larger filter as well :)

Thank you guys if not I'll try it and find out!

I run one. I used mine to take an oil feed to the turbo and relocate the filter.
The adapter will just thread onto the factory filter stud, and the relocated unit will allow for a larger filter. Toyota oil filters are the same thread as ford filters, so if you wanted to go extreme, a ford v8 filter will work with the adapter. Just remember that with the oil filter relocation kit, oil pressure will take slightly longer to build up as your adding capacity and more volume needing to be filled so I wouldn't rev the motor at a cold start for a few seconds.
of course!
Good to know! As far as the ford filter I use the Napa gold 1515 filters on all my yota's. I will be getting one of these soon. Actually just finished doing this with a supra and running an oil cooler and was in the right mind to do it to my corolla and camry.

more info on that Ford filter plz
A ford filter will thread onto a toyota fitting/motor. Thats all I am saying, so if you order a relocation kit, it will be for a ford/toyota as they share the same thread diameter and thread pitch on their filters. I have put a ford v8 filter on my corolla in a jam and it worked. It was just close to the manifold so I wouldn't use it regularly.
Oh yea of course.

I've run the Napa Gold 1515 on my Tundra and my Supra both so it's nothing new to me.
Of course its the same as a Wix 51515 for anyone looking out for it. That is the large ford filter.
I ran it on my Tundra for years and it fit perfectly in the stock location, but of course theres lots of room down there anyhow.

Thanks 1jzdreamer for the heads up brother! You dont want no stinkin 1j anyhow

I did for my cressida way back when I registered. Now if I was to do a swap, it will be a 1uz.
I have been building corollas locally.
I hear ya man!
