Possibly worn rings or valve guides. A compression check would help to verify.
You need the spark plug o-rings they are just a few bucks each, but you have to buy a set. I had the same thing happen to my honda.

where the heck are these located?? i have a 5sfe, and i can't find them anywhere, and i have the head all apart. i guess mine disintegrated.
I guess Honda has to stop oil from the top end.

i called toyota dealer and described to them wut my problem is,
he said there is a sparkplug tube, and the oil might be leaking from the threads, there is no o ring, and recommended me to go to hardware store, buy some teflon tape to apply on the thread to stop the oil leak into the tube, but the tube requires special service tool to take it out.
i don't think there is any way, that teflon tape will resist the heat of the engine. i think it'll probably just melt and make things worse.

i was able to take one tube out, and i found nothing in there. i'm hoping that my leak was either from a busted ring or a leaky valve seal. i'm replacing both the seals and the ring.
You need to clean out the oil out of the valve cover, replace the tube seals and gasket. While your at it, replace the spark plugs.

again where are the tube seals?? are those the ones that sit under the nuts that hold the valve cover on?
I don't see how oil is supposed to get thru the grommet, past the nut, and defy gravity to climb the rest of the way over the top of the tube, getting thru the spark plug boot and back down to the plug, without you seeing any signs of this evil conspiracy.
^ dude, it happens!

Ive got 4 leaky ass spark plug tubes now, burns oil like a mofo, but whatever.

I was told i need new valve seals and possibly my rings are going. which means i have an excuse for a new motor.

Are they leaking at the top or bottom?

same as me, i diagnosed my problem to be the same as yours. hope for both of us, that that's the problem.

Yes.

And the sparkplug tubes are either screwed or pressed into the head.
If the tube is leaking, isn't it obvious? Due to the fact that the valve cover would be covered in oil, atleast around the plug in question.
hi, have the same problem wanted to change plugs but the second one was "full" of oil and i was wandering if it could be those tubes and how to get em out, does anybody know how to get em out

thanks

i have the same problem...cylinders 1 2 and 3 has oil (1 with the most) and cylinder 4 had a trace....so i replaced all 4 spark plugs.....less oil now....so i just got out and bought a valve cover gasket and spark plug tubes (Advance auto parts $19.88+tax). Hopefully i'll install them on friday, i'll keep u updated about the condition
