I have two yotas now. A 91 4WD Ext cab 22R-E Auto 250k miles.then I have my 94 standard cab 22R-E Manual with 160k miles.
The 91 has way more power than the 94 and I just had tuneup, and timing chain done on it. Now, it didn't have any power before this service was done. I'm also getting around 15 mpg. I had the guy that did the timing chain double check the timning (mechanical and ignition) and he came up with nothing. Now the 91 had a new exhaust put on with a new Catalytic converter. Could that be an issue on the 94 with 160k miles?
Thanks for your input.

You can ruin a cat converter in 50 miles if you put leaded gas in your car. If you filled up at an OLD station that was using an OLD tank, you could get some gross gas and crap enough to ruin a cat easy.
You might just check your EGR system and do a tune up, but I can't tell which one had the tune up done on it.

the cat wont affect mileage unless you clog it. only emissions.
