Hey guys, I hope I can get a little clarification. I'm a brand new Tacoma owner, and like any new interest I'm trying to gather as much information as possible. I just bought an '08 SR5 Tacoma to replace my recently deceased 1996 Jeep XJ, and have been doing research on lifting it. (Lifting the TACO, not raising the dead jeep) I've read a lot about lifts, and keep seeing OME shocks. Am I correct in assuming that these are Old Man Emu shocks? I had a Old Man Emu 2" lift on my and am familiar with their fine products. Like I stated earlier, I'm new to Toyota and wasnt sure if OME had some bizzaro meaning.

If you are replacing both shock & spring, go with OME. I drove one a few weeks back that only replace the shock, and it felt crappy to me.

and what color exactly is your truck? it looks sweet in your sig.
it even looks like the tundra grey color i would have wanted my taco to be.

Not a deep dish grille. Just a color matched grille with grillecraft insert, and a 69 FJ emblem.

Truck is silver, prolly just looks dark because of the snow and reflection.
