Hey,

My 85 4x4 was sagging in the rear, and I noticed that both leaf springs had a broken leaf. I ordered a new set of old man emu medium duty lift springs for the rear. They are supposed to give about 2 1/2 inches of lift.

I would also like to get new shocks any recommendations?

Should I purchase an extended brake line for the rear? Will the Load sensing prop valve still work, or should I get rid of it?

Also should I purchase new shackles (I don't want anymore lift). If I'm using the original shackles does anything need to be pressed in or out?

Sorry guys for all the questions but any help would be of great use.

OK, you started right. OME makes the best mild lift there is. Get their shocks too, you won't be sorry. OME supensions ride and handle better than stock when new.

The LSPV and rear brake line should be OK, if you have any doubt call them, their cust service is great.

Keep your stock shackles unless you want even more lift in the rear.
