they say it could be 3 months.

2008 white DC 4x4, short box trd offroad, 6500# towing package, leather seats-didn't like the trd fabric, 6 disk cd (went with the jbl - wanted to keep it stock and not wanting to put a lot of aftermarket stuff on it).

so i'll be lurking and reading until it gets here. This truck is for my wife.

well that's what they told me...so take that with a grain of salt - that's not what sold me on it-heck, wouldnt even know what to do with it!. not really interested in that, but the amp and sub were nice. listened to all systems and this one sounded good, had good base you could feel, some clear mids, etc.

only thing i dont like about the taco is no aux 3/8 mini jack input for my mp3. been using fm modulator which is ok, but rather just pug in. i've seen the mods for ipod but mine is creative labs and need the standard 3/8 mini jack input. heck, my cheap boat stereo has it, you would think a new car/truck system would have it.

I don't know why they didn't include the AUX port considering just about every other model, above and below, has it or plays MP3 CDs. The amp and sub it did come with isn't bad, no. I'll be keeping it for a bit.

No Bluetooth on the JBL, sorry. I just put a down payment on mine and will have to wait a couple of weeks for it. I also wanted the JBL but the dealer said that for some reason, they just aren't putting the JBL system in many Tacomas so they are really hard to get that way.

Also, you do realize that Tacomas are built in the States?
