Hi,
Has anyone had a problem with the original tires wearing out prematurely. My 2008 Highlander Limited has 18,500 miles and is about 18 months old. Tires have been rotated at regular intervals by the dealer and tire pressure monitored monthly. This is not uneven wear just normal threadwear. They are almost down to nothing. Anyone have their tires replaced under warranty? Changed to another tire? Please advise. This has been 90% highway miles.
Thank you,
Anthony

While not what you want to hear original equipment tires will last about that long or even less. For the most part they have no treadwear warranty through the tire manufacturer and Toyota will tell you to contact Toyo.

If you search the forum there have been multiple threads discussing alternative tires, both in 17" and 19" depending on what model HL you have.
