Sounds a bit of hypocrisy from the democrat senator. I would have
thought better from a U.S. Senator. The good voters from California
should take note.

The point was that someone without children may not be qualified to kill
other peoples' children. Unless you have kids of your own, you cannot
imagine the idea of seeing them come home in a box, for no reason at all.

Yeah, she has a nice figure, has fashion sense (& thank goodness she changed
her hairstyle!), and various interests (incl. music - pianist, IIRC?), but I
think she's too busy w/her career to look your way. ;-P

Body's good, face is "cute", at best, but her personality is as boring
as Hillary's.

Her intelligence is overrated, as she demonstrated when she couldn't
tell the difference between rocket tubes and uranium centrifuge tubes
and more recently with her Senate testimony about Iraq (Q: Is
Afghanistan better off since the Iraq war started? A:"Afghanistan is
certainly better off than it was in 2001" -- deception).

I watched some of her testimony before house members which was replayed
on C-SPAN last night. She was totally in the drivers seat and didn't
allow them much time to ask questions. I thought it was kind of funny.

I'll go along with your analysis. I have never been impressed with
her, especially all the "ahs", "ers", and "ums" that she uses.
President George W. Bush is a better speaker than Ms. Rice.

That's because she's only allowed to give canned answers. She's just
another "yes man" or "yes mam" of the Bush administration. There is
nothing special about Condi Rice. She has done zero as a Secretary of
State. and is part of the problem with this incompetent administration.

This is probably one of the few things I'll agree with Scott on......a
person who only realizes in late middle age that she has a Jewish heritage
is not the ideal in intellect....or familial curiosity. Albright was
certainly not All Bright.

Lots of people leave religion behind early in life, and become reacquainted
with it later, which is the only proper way. The usual alternative is being
brainwashed by parents when you're too little to be aware of what's
happening.

Have you ever heard her? That has got to be the dullest personality
on Earth.
At best Condi's a buttaface.

Ugly, yes, but not stupid. She had a good sense of how the world
worked, unlike Rice, who's not only a clueless egghead but is an
outright liar. Still, Clinton should have given the job to Richard
Holbrooke, rather than send him to the UN.

That does drive me nuts.

Oranges & apples. She uses known vocabulary & phrases, whereas he's been
known to make them up as he goes along. Her problem is just those frequent
"ahhh", "er", & "and" insertions.

How about Hillary, she uses the same "ahs", "ers" amd "ums". Want to
comment about Hillary too? Please?

My comment: I've not noticed it in Hillary's speech, just in Condi's. If
Hillary does it with the same frequency, then I don't know why I haven't
noticed it.

She does. I've watched her numerous times and it also drives me nuts.
