This weekend my girlfriend and I loaded up our cars and drove 700 miles from western New York to Peoria Illinois to trade in our wheels for some new ones!

Out with the old. 05' Tree Limited and GF's 13' Fusion SE.

In with the new! 15' Sequoia platinum, and 15' Rav Limited for my better half. Glad I was able to convert her to the world of reliable vehicles...

Almost shed a tear pulling off the lot. Lots of memories were made in that big beaut, can't wait to make more in the new one!

Yea definitely won't miss the Ford. Decided to take the long way home from work today just because, and I'm living it.

Unfortunately the market for 2nd gen sequoias seems to be very limited, if you look at the production numbers after 08' they only made about 13k, of those 13k there was probably a very limited number of the platinum trim level. At the time that I was looking there were only about 5 platinum models available for sale in the U.S. (at least on all of the major car sales websites). Therefore it was exactly what I wanted so I was willing to make the drive!
