I agree with RichBinAZ. You should inspect that wiring harness and make sure it hasn't had insulation rubbed off and causing it to go to ground.

I'd recommend that you stay with the OEM plugs. Nippendenso # 9091901275. Having worked for Autozone as a parts manager and assistant manager, I saw the poor quality of the parts they sell. I DO NOT purchase anything from Autozone anymore. I go to NAPA first and then the dealership. Anything electrical should always be OEM dealer parts.
