I am chasing possibly 2 unrelated gremlins. The BRAKE light on the dash is on at all times. Is there a way to jumper the connector to the switch, so I could rule out a bad parking brake switch? It is a single wire connector. The cruise control does work. Does that rule out the switch? ( I disconnected the connector at the master cylinder and the light stayed on: ruling out the brake fluid level) Thanks!

I was told if I ran a wire from a ground to that connector, it should make the instrument panel think the parking brake is released. I did that. Light stayed on. So I am now left to assume the BRAKE and ABS lights are lit for the same reason. Hope to have abs codes pulled this week.
