Parking Lights On A 2005 Tacoma

I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma and was wondering if the turn signal lights, located just inside of the head lights, are supposed to light up as parking lights too? I checked the bulbs and the are duel filament but they only function as signals. Does anyone konw the answer? I can't remember if they ever lit up?

No they are not supposed to light up, unless your truck came with the DayTime Running Lights option. It's easy to add though. Check this.
