Guys I'm parting out my 90 Camry. I have a new toyota starter bought from Toyota (installed last summer), oem alternator from autozone (only 3 weeks old!) new blower fan resistors, new turn signal flasher, 15 inch oem rims, 15 inch oem caps and new powered antenna. The transmission only has 30,000 miles. It also has about 35 dollars worth of gas in the tank which I plan on siphoning out! I'm in New York. Let me know if there is anything you need, send a pm.

I bought an fj. The engine needs a new head gasket, But I don't want to fix it, because the engine has very high miles. I could just drop in another engine from the junk yard. Thats another option. But the power steering hoses are rusted and leaking, power steering pump is starting to go, left turn signal switch in the steering column doesn't work.

shame your so far away
Dammit, he's right. It's a crying shame I can't even road-trip it to get some parts from you. Those rims look pretty decent, mine are all pitted from stupid Canadian salt-roads...if you were only closer...

bump for a decent-looking parts car.:sosad:

As long as I can sell my car for parts I will keep the car around. It's just too good a car to just send to the junk yard. Instead I will make money on the parts instead of them. But I wouldn't wait too long for anything you need because the response has been great.

If you haven't done so already, smkdwnn, put the car in your local Kijiji pages. They get a LOT of attention, and at least they're local...

Would that alternator work in my '91 Camry 4 Cyl? I think mine went today... Where in NY do you live, I'm just across the lake in VT.
My V6 Camry alternator wouldn't work in the 4 cylinder, the alternator belts are different sizes. You might notice that the idiot lights went on. When my alternator went bad the brake light, battery light and check engine went on.

I didn't think it would work, had to pick one up today anyway so going to get it was def. out of the question.

When it died the Charge, Brake, and Rear Lights lights came on, and the voltmeter read 12.5v on the terminals. One of my white reverse lights also looked dim, I'll hafta look into that tomorrow when I get my car back.

Never heard of Nanuet before :)

Good luck, now would be a good time to change the alternator belt if its worn out.
