Need Help Finding Custom Interior Parts . . .

Hi,

I just purchased an Avalon with quite a few miles on it. The car still looks almost like new. But the steering Wheel is really discolored and the shifter knob is really worn. My local Toyota dealer service rep said that there are all kinds of 3rd parts items that you can get for Avalons like wood steering wheels and shifter knobs.

A new steering wheel from Toyota is $830 the shifter knob is a quite a bit cheaper at $82.

Are there any places on the web with mods specific for Avalon's?

P.S.: I'm posting in this forum as another message said this was the correct place for Avalon questions since Avalon's and Camry's are very similar.

Yea the steering wheels are rather expensive, however I've never seen anything aftermarket that looked nearly as good. Try www.toyotaautoparts.com and tell them Ben sent you and see what price they can give you. That may make the shifter piece more affordable, but the steering wheel will be what I would consider expensive no matter were you go.
