I was at the store and some one hit my passenger side mirror. im assuming they didnt hit it with a car cuz the mirror is not fully off its just loose. my question is ....
Is the passneger side mirror held on by a screw or sumthing or can i just glue it back on??

any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

what you can do is, take off the panel from the inside of the door (triangle peice) and unscrew the 3 nuts with a 10mm wrench. the whole mirror will come off. and see if you can fix the mirror while its off instead of trying to fix it while its on.

if you have the XLE model, theres gonna be a tweater there so becareful when takeing the panel off.

BTW, its $300cdn for those mirrors.,

Same thing happened to me. The black mount inside the painted mirror housing breaks away with the slightest contact with anything (probably meant to do so instead of warping the door). I glued it back together the best I could with Super Glue.

I know it's a really cheesy kludge but it's reasonably solid and you can't tell the difference just by looking at it. The only thing I'd do differently is to use epoxy instead of Super Glue. It's more permanent and resilient.
