I have a 2002 sienna van with a passanger side power door that has decided to open by power switch or remote but will not close the same way.I have to shut the power off then close it manually.It did it intermittent for awhile but has refused to close by power any more has anybody got a cure that wont cost an arm and leg. I'd check opening motor and the electrical connectors at the motor because it's not the switch since it does the same thing with the remote also.... Maybe a short in a sensor that is telling the door there is something in the way? You need to get the electrical circuits and run it down... I'll check my manual but I don't have power rear doors....
