Passenger Wheel Well

I am hoping that someone can help me out here. I have a question about my 06 V6 DC SB TRD Sport Tacoma.
I was driving on the expressway and changing lanes when I heard a loud bang from the front passenger side. It sounded as if I ran something over and it slammed into the top of my wheel well.
I pulled over to inspect the situation and found a bolt sticking out of the top of the metal in the wheel well. The bolt looks like it might belong there when looking into the engine bay as if it is holding the intake in.
My question is... Should that bolt be there? I don't remember what the wheel well looked like before I ran over the object so my point of reference is shot. Can someone share a picture of the well? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

post a picture for us so we can get a better idea of what and where it is.
Here is a pic. I have one more pic that basically shows a slightly different angle. LMK if there are problems viewing this.

Can't see the pic. Try uploading through Photobucket.com and using
I changed the code. Thanks.
holy crap do everyone a favor and resize that pic:eek:
I would say it's supposed to be there. By the way, try using smaller pictures next time. I have high speed internet and it still took FOREVER to load.

Dude must have like a 200 megapixle camera. That pic is massive. Massive I say!
Sorry about the initial size of the pic. I am not used to my new 10 megapixel camera yet.
I am glad to hear that everything looks normal. It is just suprising that the bolt would be that exposed in a wheel well.
^ dude, that was the biggest net pic I have ever seen. It didn't even fit my screen. Nice camera.
All about havin the 32inch HDTV LCD screen as a monitor, but did you run over something???? Everything looks fine.

Same thing I was thinking. Maybe something got caught in a tread and slung up into the fender well when you got up to enough speed for it to dislodge.
