Nutserts/Rivnuts on passenger firewall.

Bracket bent from piece of an aluminum 4 x 4 light post. I squirted a bunch of silicone sealant in the nutserts prior to threading in the bolts.

Amazon sourced oil catch can mounted and plumbed. It came with 3-sets of fittings for the inlet/outlet, replacement prongs, and a little cone filter that can be optionallybinstalled in lieu of the big screw in the top of the can.

Very professional looking job. I like the nutserts in the firewall. You know that can isn't going anywhere. As a mechanic, I would have just used self-drilling sheet metal screws. Better to overdo than under do though. If that thing wasn't so clean, it would look factory. Once it gets dirty it will.

Very creative way to fix excessive oil getting into your intake tract I guess?

Yeah, it’s a little preventative maintenance based on everyone else’s experience that I figured made sense to finish before I pull the intake apart for it’s first cleaning since I’ve owned it.
