I'm customizing my 2002 toyota echo, I just put neons inside and getting new 14 inch hub spinners, and now......i want new gas/brake pedals. I was just cleaning out my car tonight and giving it a bath, and noticed that the brake pedal and the gas pedal are just connect by nut and bolt (maybe, thats all i saw  ) is that true? Or is there some complicated way of changing the pedals? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

p.s. i mean the brake and gas pedal covers, installing help with them please?

MAN! I have the same question, so I was hoping for an answer on this one. Maybe I can ask again since this post is old (2004).

I need to know what a decent after-market pedal that either bolt on, or cover the existing gas & brake. Any suggestions, please let me know. I've bought two sets so far, one online and one at an auto parts store locally, and neither fit right. Thanks!

Oh, by the way, I have a 2000 Echo Coupe with an auto-transmission (no clutch pedal).
