Does anyone knows some performance chip for Gen 6 SE V6 engine. Is it possible to eliminate speed limit governor?

Do you really want to go over 135MPH?
135MPH? My V6 LE will do better than that, bone stock from the factory (I've yet to find the actual turn-off point).

Yep... good call... I thought it was limited... guess it was my accord... after a quick seach, i found this

I would suspect the turn-off point is based on the tires. Mine came from the factory with V-rated Michelins... so I'd guess the limiter at 149/150.

I need to find a track or a lonely runway/taxiway to figure out where the limiter really is.

As far as the chip goes, for the OP, why? I wouldn't want non-Toyota code running through the ECU/etc. Toyota spends a whole lot more time and money writing that code than any of the aftermarket companies could afford to. As far as the limiter goes, it can be disabled with the Intelligent Tester - provided you can find a dealer willing to cooperate or someone to loan one to you and not ask questions.

I'll find out where my limiter is one of these days - I need to borrow an IT to kill that INFERNAL SEATBELT REMINDER. Grumble.
Most manufacturer's don't use removeable PROM's (chips) anymore, and haven't for about a decade.
According to Road and Track the 2007 Camry SE V6 is electronically limited to 144 mph. I have had the car up in the 130 range several times :D but never to 144 so I cannot personally verify this.
I "accidentally" (LoL) got my i4 up to 128....If I had about 1500 more feet of road to work with, I might have been able to push it to the cut-off.

Yeah, if anything i'd like a stricter governor on my I4

I guess I'm really old...that fastest I pushed my Carmy was 95mph for only 30 seconds... on a wide open road to Las Vegas. :D

Wow, I once reached that point.....couple of times, and the road wasn't even straight. So it was quite scary taking a slight bend going over 125mph. The Gen 5.5 top speed is limited to 120mph, or Toyota says. I've gone over that couple of times so I guess mine isn't.

Yeah, old timer.......haha j/k

The time I went that fast was what made me start that thread a while back about the stinky burn-off smell from the new engine.

Smelled like fish and rubber....

^ Dude, we don't even know how that's like......now we know who does.

Cops have cracked down on speeding on our local freeways due to a epidemic of speed fatalities in 07'.

The fastest I pushed my Camry was 95 MPH.
