Hi, I have a 1999 tacoma v-6,4x4,ext.cab,auto. If I put on a high performance exhaust, and a cold air intake, should I have the engine tuned? If so, who does that kind of stuff, and how much will it cost? Also, will a throttle body spacer make a lot of difference in performance? Thanks

Uh.....no you don't need the engine tuned. Skip the intake and do the deck plate mod. The exaust makes a pretty noise, but that is about it. TB spacers are worthless. Really, there isn't anything that will significantly boost power short of putting on a supercharger. The only reason the deck plate mod is worth doing is because it can be done for about $20.

What you really need to make your truck kick ass is the Tornado fuel saver it atomizes the fuel and air mix in the throttle body into a tornado like swirl and makes your engine into a 454 Chevy V8 and can blow away any Honda Ridgeline out of the Supermarket parking lot (totally just kidding) none of that crap works. Try using some Amsoil synthetics throughout it helps with a little better drivability.
