You should be ok... phone holder shouldn’t stick out much... you’d think pro clip would test magnetic and phone holder attachments they offer on their site. I can definitely say that I’m really pleased with the magnet holder

ordered thanks! will post pics. order will take much longer for me since im in Canada :)

how do you sstick your phone to this? i don't see a clip holder...sorry, i'm new to "mounting" for cards but i can't figure out how this holds your phone

Will this also work on the 2020 Corolla SE models?
Not sure about working on the sedan. The mount is magnetic, you double stick a plate to your case/phone.

Just installed Pro Clip and magnet mount ?

Hi there! Thanks for posting pics, was hard to find. Looking at getting this set up myself. What type of phone do you have? Concerned my phone may be too large for that space, I have an iPhone 7plus.
Thanks in advance!!

I have the Pro Clip and highly recommend it as well. You need to buy two things.

Mount - https://www.proclipusa.com/product/855453-proclip-center-dash-mount
Iphone 7 Plus specific device holders - https://www.proclipusa.com/device/phone-holders/apple-iphone-7-plus

Make sure to factor in case width, because some of them are only for bare devices. The device holders should provide enough vertical clearance so that it clears the infotainment screen.

Thanks! I'm looking into purchasing the magnetic one. Just wondering how much clearance and space I'd get with having a larger phone in that area. Do you find there's enough clearance between where the steering wheel is and how far the phone will stick out from whichever device holder you have?

Aside from blocking the climate controls, the holder blocks the e-button = serious safety violation...
People mounting their phones to their dash, don't really care about safety. If you're concerned about safety, you'd keep it in your pocket/purse/console. Out of sight, out of mind.

I'm using a magnetic vent mount. I've never used one before, but the vents do not really hold the weight. That's okay, though as it works out perfectly for me - I'm using the right vent below the screen, angled it up so it's level (vent pointing down somewhat) and the phone (I have a very large Samsung A70) just rests around the area of the AC controls. It's eliminated my need for AA as I just use it and then have the OEM screen show MPG and audio. It's nice as I just place it there and it sticks.

I have the pro clip but I can't get it to stay. What did you use to stick it? The original sticky didn't work so I tried another and it didn't work. Mine can't seem to fit behind the infotainment center like yours. Sticks out a bit which doesn't create a solid stick

Can you please tell me if this mount is reusable??
I mean can you take it off and place it back it after some days?
I am asking this because from what I see it also uses adhesive parts....

Take a pic, I think most likely your install to the infotainment system is the key
