I got sick of looking at these PIAA's in my shed unused and collecting dust. I saw a local truck shop with these piaa light adapters. "Composite Tubular Mounting Kit 3.0 Inch Part # PIA30736" They make them for 2" 2.5" and 3" They also make them in alloy up to 2.5" but not in the 3" :thumbdown

I had to fab up a small bracket beacuase my lights are a few years old and used a a more coarse thread than the new PIAA adapters.

I just took a drive and the light pattern is nice and low the way a fog should. They blow my OEM fog light away. The light output is at least 2.5x as bright :clap:

Why not just put a stainless clamp through the light bracket and around the bar tube ??

You cant. They dont mount up like a typical fog light. There on a swivel type proprietary base.

Yes they not keeping with the PIAA and Hella super white trend here but the benifits outweight the look of some other "fogs"

Im not sure. I think I need some more mall armor for my truck. I want to paint the wheels the same color as the gunmetal TRD FJ wheels.
