i think this is the "torque" arm/rod???

and w/ the nwor lift, they include this little bracket thing to lift it up..now if you don't cut the top of it off, it will hit the headers when you're articulated..and then today, when i was testing the new articulation, i noticed that its kinda bending when its really twisted up..this is a pic of it...

does any other company make a better one that drops it from the fram, instead of lifting it from the axle?

that would be a way better setup i think if you leave the sway bar on, cuz they look like they interfere with each other..

heres a pic...

why would a 1992 toyota pickup that is ifs have that arm that attatches to the straight axle?

and even if it was a sas kit, they wouldnt inlcude that.

keep in mind that this isn't the same post as the sway bar post.

When your truck is stock the torque arm is used to help control bump steer, once you add a lift kit you should remove it because it will limit your suspension travel. like everyone here is telling you, just remove it, you no longer need it.

The torque arm has been removed from my 85 truck when the lift was installed, no problems at all. my cousin has an 85 4Runner with dana 60`s front and rear with no problems at all, you are kind of making this harder than it needs to be, just remove it. nobody here would give you bad advise that would mess up your truck.
