I didn't even realiise my DC Long Bed had a plastilc bed untill I was under it checking the air pressue in the spare. I was like wondering how they got those compartments, duh? Well I think its great, I mean how many trucks have you seen that were all rusty in the beds. Usually the beds get all scraped up and thus rust! I don't see any draw backs to this, do you? I guess its only a matter of time, the whole darn thing will probaly be plastic.(the truck that is) Humm!

definitely needs a bed mat, i put a havahart trap(metal cage) in the bed and it slid all over the placew, i was worried it was gonna hit the little cover on the ac receptacle and break it off. so yea i think there are some small drawbacks:whatwhat:
