Just discovered a small oil leak ... Would like to fix but don't know what it is exactly... Help? Please!!!

I know this picture isn't much to go off of but it's almost some type of sensor into the engine that is leaking small amounts on to the block.. It's facing the front of the car on the front part of the engine just to the right of the exhaust manifold.. Any help would be awesome.

Any additional info would on how to's or diy's would be greatly appreciated
Oil pressure switch is 10-15 bucks at most parts stores.

Disconnect cannon plug. Use wrench to remove old switch. Put thread tape or sealant on threads of new switch. Screw on by hand, tighten with wrench. Install cannon plug.

Unlike the 6 cyl, can be done with beer in one hand.

w a little Teflon tape...
You should not have used Teflon tape. That stuff can get into the oil galley if you ever remove the pressure switch. You'll have to be very careful not to leave any tape on the female thread if the switch is removed again. Usually taper threads do not need any sealer, but if necessary, Permatex High Performance thread sealer works best. Sometimes parts will come with a pre-applied red color sealer on the thread.

don't feel bad. i'm sure i've done the same thing early on not knowing about tapered threads cause i use that white tape on all water connections around the house.
just be careful when you remove it in 10 years to replace it and make sure to get all the tape out of the hole that's left behind - if any - like SR sez to prevent any other problems.
