Hi everyone....I'm new to the forum and trying to solve a mystery. I was changing the spark plugs on my wife's 2002 Corolla and small connector or some variety broke off. Unfortunately, it broke at the wire with not enough length on the part end to splice. I'm trying to figure out what the heck this is so I can order a new one but the auto parts store guys are stumped.

The wire is going into the same hose that hoses the coil wires, but its impossible to tell where it goes. In the photo, its the little whitish part in my hand, and you can see where is broke off from. Any help would be much appreciated!

I believe the part is a noise filter for the electronics. The connector plug needs to be replaced, not the part. I'm not sure you can buy the connector plug itself without buying a whole new wiring harness. It maybe easier just to go to a junkyard and cut the connector you need out of a corolla.
