I like the look of the stock wheels on my 05 Taco, but want them to be a little different. I was thinking of having the main spokes Black, but leaving the lip a natural aluminum color. What do you think?

Anybody know a good place that can strip the stock clearcoat and then powdercoat them? And about much it should cost? Hopefully a lot less than a whole new set of wheels.

It is a good idea, i've seen some products (from SRT owners) that have done the likewise on their stock wheels, and it looks different and still OEM. Let me know how much it costs, i'm thinking of doing the same for my solara though!

I had a set done last year by Allied Powder Coating here in Houston, $300 for a big set of wheels...ForgeLine 17x9 and 17x11

I had been quoted from 25/wheel to 100/wheel.

Now I can get 4 wheels done for less than $50 if I do all the prep work.. assuming a 15-16" wheel of course.
