Just got our 3rd Avalon--2007 Limited. Can't seem to find the power outlet, that lets me plug in computer or other external electric. The 2001 avalon had an outlet in rear seat, but haven't found it on 2007 yet. Is this a feature that was taken away?

I don't think the new avalons have power outlets...our 2006 XLS does not

easiest solution is to go to radio shack and buy a single outlet AC/DC power inverter that plugs into your cig lighter at one end and has a regular outlet on the other end to power your external electrics

There are two power outlets in the 05

I have no idea who the idiot was that decided where to put them but they are both in an inconvienient location.

One is at the bottom forward left corner of the console that has the little dorr that opens.
The second one is at the bottom of the deep sliding armrest console.

They are the hardest things I have ever tried tu use.
I installed a third one on the side of the console just below where my knee is to power my GPS.

if you do not have these where I mentioned, then they must have taken them out of the newer ones.

My '07 Limited only has the 12v power points as described by Phantomdaz

they dropped the a/c outlet as an option in 2005...too bad cause it is real handy. like NYLex says, you can buy one to plug into one of your 12v outlets, or get it wired in at the fuse box.
