dextron III superceeded the dextron II genius

looks in your owners manual to be sure if dextron is what to use

ive never had ot add anything ot mine in the over two eyars i have had it nor have i ever looked in the manual to see what they use, so i have no idea,

you don't. you use ATF or at least that's what evey other toyota i've seen used, but those were all newer than 1990 so just look on the cap on the resivoir it should say. it's kind of dumb because toyota put PS fluid in their older cars even though it cleary says to use ATF i think they do because it's cheaper but the ATF actually lubricates and keeps the system healthy.

any 'modern' ATF and /or "power steering fluid" and your ok---

yes, I know dextron III superseded dextron II but I wasn't sure if i should use it or power steering fluid. The rules of this forum clearly state that members should not make disparaging comments, so post friendly. btw, check your spelling.
