I am trying to track down a leak source on my 2006 Corolla xrs. It doesn't appear to me that my timing cover is leaking. Looks more like a leak from above, but there's no oil dripping onto the garage floor.

There's evidence of build up at the bottom of the timing cover, but that is rotational. I also checked the oil pan on the back edge and the side under the timing cover. Cleaned it off for now.

I also checked the timing tensioner, and found it to be dry.

The image isn't at the best angle, but it's the smaller hose that has signs of seepage. Not the silver one.

Was talking with 75aces, my power steering seems to be leaking as well, however I don't understand how I have so much build up of oil all over the back and bottom of my motor. I am not sure what the source of the leak is, however my oil pan looks pretty messed up, but there is a lot of oil above it on the backside of the motor. It seems to be somewhere on the timing chain/accessory belt side of the motor.
Seems like its clearly leaking from that U hose.... I'm not sure how to swap it out. Does anyone know what I need to do, besides the obvious remove/replace hose part?

Few pics of my leak(s):

The power steering hose is a common leak point. The easiest fix is to simply add a screw type clamp on the hose in place of the constant tension clamp. If the hose is actually leaking because of a hole, you cannot buy it from Toyota as it is part of an entire, much more expensive assembly. You can replace the hose with a generic transmission cooler hose, but know Toyota hose is metric and slightly larger than the 3/8 hose available at most US parts stores. This makes it a PITA to install onto the reservoir.

Do you know what size the hose is? I moved the clamp a bit and there is large indentation from where the clamp sits. The clamp seems plenty tight... If you have any idea where I can order one online in the correct size that'd be helpful.
That said, will probably try just replacing the clamp and see if that helps.

Is the smaller diameter hose in my image for the power steering pump? It has seepage, but the fluid level doesn't drop or need to be added.

You can go to most local auto parts stores. I'm pretty confident those hose is 10mm but the hose you can buy is 3/8 (around 9.5mm), which makes it hard to install. I know the larger hose is 17mm and that one is a massive pain to install with local hose.

I will post another image of the hose in question. The issue isn't with the hose wrapped with silver.

It's the hose to the left of it. Trying to determine if this goes to the steering pump or not.

The 2 images that I am referencing is a hard line and connects to a rubber hose. There is signs of seepage.

It looks like the hard line is coming from the steering rack and into the steering pump. This rubber hose is in front of the timing tensioner.

Is this a high pressure line? I assume it is since it's a hard line going into a rubber hose.
