I have a 2009 Toyota Camry. Just yesterday my husband was driving and the power steering went out. No accidents, no incidents. Just out. He put more power steering fluid in it but now all the power steering fluid leaked out. We think there may have been a slow leak that turned into a major failure. Thoughts?

You need to find a leak. It is that simple!

Most likely this is a bad connection or a hole in the hose.

When you repair it do not use power steering fluid. Use Dexron ATF.

Good luck,
Sam

Cars that leak power steering fluid usually leak at the high pressure line. Usually high pressure lines progressively get worst over time. If you are losing all your fluid in a day worth of driving, I'm almost betting a serious leak or a disconnected hose.
