Guyz,

Recently ,my window wouldnt go down when I was at a lot trying to pay,but it worked as soon as I parked. It almost seemed like it overheated and quit nad then started working again as soon as it cooled off...

So I went back to the manuals and figured out that the circuit breaker was getting tripped by the motor ... It works fine for the other 3 windows ..

Also ,this sorta seems like a weak motor overdrawing current..... or do you think its a faulty breaker??

Thanks ,
Bala

P.S ;I havent whipped out my amp-meter yet ,will do so in the weekend. All this is only sights and sounds....

Could be a weak motor or it could also be the glass is binding.

What year/model are driving?

My '95 front passenger side window is much slower than my drivers side window. The windows in my car use a cable system it looks like. I'm going to see if there is a place to lubricate the mechanisem to see if it helps.

I would sat that your master switch is getting old and corroded. Thats what happened to mine. You really cant fix it either, It has alot of moving parts and springs that are EXTREMLY difficult to get back together. Good luck! Test the motors by connecting them to the battery via jumper wires to test.

More stuff going on

Ok,
my car definitely wants some lovin.....

Yesterday ,I tried to open my door locks in my car thro the master lock, and it started chattering ,like someone was pulsing it on and off at a very high rate. I had to unlock it from the inside or else it wouldnt stop.and even then lock from the inside didnt work.so ihad to manually lock them

I have a 96 LE.

thanks for the replies ,
keba
