Hello everyone, I have a 1993 Toyota Corolla DX... Almost a classic! when the month of April rolls around, just so it is entirely legitimate .
AS some of you know there are the handle type winding windows which I am sure all of you love.:disappoin
I was thinking about installing power windows
or at least the substitute of getting converter power windows here.

Which I would like for the most part. Just the problem that I am not very
insightful on powering anything like this, I know drown me.. But I am learning.

For the most part I am just an avid high school kid that wants to do the
most of what he has. And for this reason I would like to ask those who
have had some experience with this sort of installation or swap. Any
information that could help would be delightful.

Honestly just buy the power window regulators, from memory the wiring is there, you need the switches and different door cards. Hit up a junk yard!

Hmm, that is actually fairly simple, as well as the motors being the same type. I think though that this installation would be fairly "easy" with the corollas being steep with their doors.

power windows need power, power is carried on wires. As far as I can remember the wiring was present in the doors for the motors and switches even if you lack power windows.

I wouldn't count on it, I was told the samething for rear speakers. No such luck!

Maybe it depends on trim, if it was standard on the trim level but was deleted by the purchaser when ordering the wiring is there.

Nothing like that was found, sir. I was looking at some other threads concerning their swap, some had a plastic computer that was supposed to be present on the driver side under all the front console parts. I looked there as well but I found nothing of the sort. Which for me means I will have to siphon power from the fuse box with an aftermarket set of motors.

I guess you have to now take apart your trim and connect new wires to whichever stereo/head-unit you have, huh?
