Does anyone know the location of the power window relay on a '86 4runner. I do not have power windows except for the rear tailgate glass. The key will make the window go up but not down. Checked the key switch and it is good. Vehicle schematics show the wiring feeds to the relay but it is not located in the tailgate.

It is located in the side panel behind the driver's seat. Kind of a hassle to get to. It'll be a little gray box about 2"×3"×1". Can't miss it, it's all by itself in there.

Thanks for the reply. I would never have found it there. It was not mounted and fell to the bottom of the well where it got wet and rusted 1 of the traces on the circuit board. Cleaned it up and jumpered a wire across the rusted spot. All is good again.
