So does anyone know if there is a torque spec for the nuts that connect the power steering tubes to the rack and pinion? This would be for the flare type fittings. I assume if there is a torque spec then they would be different depending on whether it's flared versus o-ring. (For '94 DX)

I'm sure most people will just say, "good-n-tight", but I'm no mechanic so I'm always more confident when I have torque specs to look at. I'm thinking I should be able to get them torqued with a crows foot on my wrench.

Thanks.

There is no room to fit a torque wrench and if you use a crows foot you have to re-calculate your torque value using the effective length of the crow foot.

Exact torques are necessary for parts attached with multiple fasteners.
