Yes, same as a Corolla, the Prizm will have either 4AFE (1.6L) or 7AFE(1.8L) motors
Prism owners question?
Anyone with a 1.8L prism. Can you please look at the label under the hood showing the engine specs. At the bottom of this label does it show 7A-FE. Thanks!

(96 Corolla) There's two labels under the hood, one showing vaccum routing, this doesn't have it. The second, bigger label (top right corner, sort of) with the emissions details should list the engine code at the very bottom.
