Sure looks like Toyota hit a "home run" with the new Prius Prime Hybrid EV. Surprised if this is the first post on new 2023 model since its getting lots of good reviews over the last few days. Question to current and future Prius owners. Will this new Hybrid qualify for $7500 tax credit when it comes out in mid 2023? Not sure if this new model will be made in U.S. or Japan but I believe Prius (in the past) have qualified for U.S. tax credits. Replies appreciated

As a very happy 2014 TAH owner, I have been trying to buy a RAV4 Prime but none are available/allocated to my area (SE WI). I also looked for a Prius Prime but could not find one. I know there's a big push for everyone to go electric and raise fuel prices, but in this area even Plug in Hybrids are nowhere to be found. I'm very impressed by the 23 Prius rollout and will watch for availability. I'd likely be buying a 24 if available. Does anyone have experience with a prime in colder climates? I'd be interested to know how big of a hit you take on electric range. I know my TAH mpgs drop ~10mpg in the winter months. I average 45mpg over the last 7 years of ownership so very impressed with the Toyota Hybrids. I'd love to be able to do my 19mi commute 1 way on electric and still have the hybrid for longer trips.

Gets pretty cold in Japan in winter and that's where Toyota sells a lot of Prius vehicles. I'm wondering how quiet the Prius is (cabin wise) say versus an all EV? That's with gas powered motor running.
