There is probably a simple answer to this, but I need to know. My truck didn't come with fog lights, but the wiring is there. Does anyone know if I also have the relays and what-not that I may need to install foglights? Can I tie into the wiring that's there, and run the system, or do I need to re-wire the whole truck to get them to work, including a new relay, fuses and what-not else?

Just the relay which you can find the location underneath the fuse box in the engine compartment and the switch which plugs into the white harness behind the blanks in the dash on the top row.

This is the relay you need. This guy had a bunch of OEM fog light switches for sale also. Write him an email and see if he has anymore.

People sell their stuff all the time, especially when they get a new bumper like the ARB. Get the rest of the stuff from trdparts4u.com they are way cheaper than any of the dealers in canada. Nice to see a fellow calgarian on the forum, what do you drive?

Thanks guys. I already have a light kit, that came with a relay, but I was hoping for a cleaner underhood look by using the factory stuff. I guess I'll stick with the kit and try to keep the wiring as clean as possible.

If you're prewired why would you use a kit?

I don't get it either.

All of the wiring and harnesses are there if you have a V6, regardless of the package.

You need the fog light housings, fog light bulbs, relay and switch. Doesn't get much easier than that.

The only thing that is pricy are the housings which can be found used or at a junk yard with a little patience. In the end, I paid $110 to add my fogs. $75 for used housings and bulbs. $35 for the relay and switch.

Yeah, you're right. I already have a switch, so for an extra $10, I can have it look factory under the hood. Sometimes I'm just too cheap!:lol:
