Problems with Power door locks/remote

Hey everyone, hope you guys/gals are having a good night.

My fiance'e's 2005 rav4 have been acting up.

Her keyless entry remote for the door lock/unlock sometimes work and sometimes doesn't. When I tried locking/unlocking it from inside the car, it doesn't react to the button "lock" or "unlock" command.

This has been driving me crazy for the past week trying to see what is going on. I tried checking the fuses under the bay to see if any of them are shot, but NONE.

I'm thinking maybe the battery for the remote is weak or something? But why would that have any affect from the "lock/Unlock" button from inside the car?

Can anyone help me with this? Any inputs or direction in fixing this would be great. Thanks in advance for anything...at all.
