does anybody have the projector headlights on the tacoma. i am looking for a picture of these specfic ones here is the link to ebay please let me know. I would like to see what they look like on the tacomas thank you to all who reply to this

EDIT: My bad, I didn't realize these were a different style. I haven't seen that particular style on a truck yet. But I'd have to agree with Lotust below, that they look a little better than the old ones but still, not too crazy about them.

they do look better than the fist gen of the aftermarket projectors. Stil not for me unless that got rid of all the useless crap on them.

Also realize that projector lights aren't necessarily better than conventional designs. It's pretty easy to make a chromed tube with a blob of glass on the front. Just be sure you're safe with any replacement lights.

head lights

i am trying to decide if i want to spend the money in the hid and the install which is a hundred dollars on top of the price on the lights which is 300 bucks ouch plus shipping which is 50 dollars for a total of 450 OUCH that hurts

200 + shipping $44 and i install myself or

$300 + shipping $50 + install $100

They are better looking than the previous models... I'll give them that.

But if you look closely at the pics from the other forums with them installed and turned on... notice the 4 white LEDs along the bottom are different shades of white... indicating they are low quality LEDs (I've seen it before on cheap white LED sets)... which would make me wonder about the quality of the rest of it.

Also, if you look at the turn signal bulbs, both in the stock pictures and the installed pictures on the truck... the bulb appears to stick out straight, or at a completely different angle, than the rest of the housings and bulbs... makes it look pretty out of place... especially with the LED turn signal bulbs from the pics on the other forum. Makes it look pretty strange in my opinion.

But I agree with the others... they'd be pretty decent if they removed all the extra junk. You can keep the angel eyes because I've always loved those from BMWs, but take out the strip along the top and the four LEDs on the bottom and make it look more "normal" ... then you'd have a decent design... and then you just have to worry about the quality of them, lol
