Hi,

I bought a steering wheel removal kit from harbor freight tools.

I removed my steering wheel no problem

my question is...How do I get the steering wheel to go all of the way back on and not be loose?

the kit came with something to compress it i think but it cant grip onto the threads to even work for my truck

Im sure this is a noob question but its really making me mad

btw I have a '91 Toyota pickup no tilt wheel if it helps at all

just put the wheel back on , and crank the nut down with a socket ... dude .. it aint that hard !!!

thats what i thought but i could swear it was covering more splines before and wasnt as loose

right now it feels like its going to rock back and forth and wear out getting even more loose

its all in your mind ....

just put the wheel on "straight" .... and crank er' down




your' good to go .
