qn regarding the CT26 turbo

is it really true that the CT26 is not that efficient after 8 psi of boost, could anyone verify tat..

Nope... that's bs. I run mine 14psi daily.
8-10 psi of boost is STOCK boost levels for many of the cars that are equipped with the CT26 from the factory. A truer statement would be that it loses efficiency after 17-18 psi.
and they run out of breath after 6k rpm
Oh.... forgot to mention. If you aren't running an intercooler... don't expect to boost over 5-6psi. Maybe that is where your 8psi efficiency numbers are coming from :dunno:
ct-26 sucks.....too small.....spools quick...but no top end what so ever....

ya but the ct-26 is a good turbo if your going from NA to Turbo.

yes its true the CT20b is a much better turbo, but its near to twice the price of the CT26, and if all u realy need is a bit more pick up, then the CT26 is a good cost efective option.

lol... well i guess it shd be enuff for me... just to add a little power, and make my baby into a sleeper... and also, smoke those dumba$$ civics and those rich MF kids in my school who drives cars tat are powered by daddy and mummy and think they are damn cool....
