Just read a thread from a new Venza forum, some guy posted a thread, that the brand new Venza he bought, has some quite major problems. it's kinda scary to read this kinda stuff for a Toyota. wondered any of the new venza owners here had experienced the same matters?
here's the link. http://www.venzaownerz.com/t20/

First model year, there will always be kinks. It's unfortunate, but it's the price we pay for an all new model! Toyotas generally have good reliability so issues with first model years aren't usually devastating (except for the run away Lexuses).

Reading that guy's posts it seems most of his issue was the wait while it was at the dealer. It sucks, but it sometimes takes a long time to fix a problem, especially if you also have other cars there and only so many techs. It seemed fix by his last post.

+1 on this one. its a first model year. this was also happen on 07 camry to many TSB's. rattle on the dash, trans flare, and etc etc. but on the following year i think they fix the problems on the 08+. IMO its better to buy a new car on the next model year. you know what i mean...
i realy love the venza so im going to wait for the next model year (the 2010 model) and i hope they'll fix the problems.

That sends a chill down my spine! I would normally wait a year and let the kinks get worked out but this time I pulled the trigger early. Fingers crossed.
