I am researching a 2016 XLE AWD (have not been in one yet), some show as having a Bench Second Seat & some show the option of Captain Chairs installed.

Do the Captain Chairs fold down flat ?

If I want to carry a Large piece of say a Sheet of Plywood or a large piece of furniture, do the Captain Chairs fold down enough to fit those kind of large items ?

Not completely flat but level with the rear deck so you are able to carry fairly large items.
