My 2000 camry is becoming hard to steer at some points in a turning rotation. I took it to a shop and they said it could be the rack and pinion u joint or the rack itself. Either way im looking at over a 1000.00 to get it done by them.
Its still drivable but doesn't seem very trustworthy....anyone have any suggestions on what i can do about this?
Do i have to bit the bullet and let a shop do this (they say that the rack and pinion can only come from toyota @ 500.00), or does anyone have any suggestions?
thanks a million
